That's weird regan, I just saw Children of Men yesterday and started reading the book about ten minutes ago. I bought it at Barnes & Noble this morning. So far so good but I'm only a few pages in...I'll let you know what I think when I finish it if you want.

I was actually kind of disappointed to find out about halfway through the movie what had caused the infertility, but I enjoy guessing. I'm wondering how the book compares. Anybody read it?

So far this week has been great. We had Monday off for MLK Day, Tuesday we got an ice storm come through so we couldn't go to work, and today it still hasn't cleared out so we didn't go to work again. It's clearing up today so we'll probably make it to work tomorrow. That means we get a two day work week. Not bad. That's what happens when Texas gets ice and snow, we just shut down...

Oh, and here is a video of our dogs playing in the ice and snow, if you ever wondered what dachshunds do when it's cold.

Used Hiptops are going for $300 on eBay right now. I'm considering selling mine now... shaving $20 off my bill each month until June. Can I live off of a Nokia 6610 or a RAZR for a few months and then jump into the iPhone? Might be fun to cut myself off for a bit again. And what about this iPod? Can I switch to a 8gb or should I keep both?

Amazingly, that strip of West between my apartment complex and the park remains unscathed as of midnight, but I bet it'll be closed bt morning. It was always one of the first to go.
