| Camel @|27 pack Tue 01.16.07 9:19pm PST #20311 |
![]() ![]() ![]() Yo, its my first time posting on HN. My name is Nick Garcia and I'm from the 'NO. For all you folks out there who have no idea where I'm talking about, that's Fresno, Ca. Well anyways, I saw this camel art pack at a 7-11 by my house today. It was one of the best ones I've seen, and the world has to see it! Oh, and that's a knife I just recently bought. I collect knives and guns. I call this one the Knife of Mordor. Keep it stupid, ignanat, and most of all keep it HYPHY! --drizzt Hyphy |

Few blocks from my house. Just noticed it the other day. It's closed now. Must have been recent, too, cause I remember the shop, I just never noted the name until now. ------------------------ Bird (Graci) -tinyurl.com/yagdmz "Style - it's a kaleidoscope in a funhouse, and you're always lost and wrong." - J. | Old Town Alexandria Mon 01.15.07 11:22pm PST #20304 |
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Went in to Alexandria Sunday to get a hair cut (at Circe on ammit's recommendation), but you can tell from the circles under my eyes at the end of the day that a weekend of "normal" levels of socialization took its toll on me. Was elated to find a shopfront for Paper Source, which is almost as good as Stamp Antonio. They're a letterpress studio, but they carry all sorts of good stuff, including a little Japanese penguin eraser that I doubt I'll ever be able to use for its intended purpose. |

| Gott Mins Uns... Mon 01.15.07 1:15pm PST #20302 |
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Folkert De Jong's Gott Mins Uns (In God We Trust) is a stange exhibit I saw while walking home from work at 1 in the morning... Apparently, it's "...an allegory of pathological male violence, explicated in sculptural figures playing out the rituals of war... De Jongs narrative begins with a solider taking photographs of a number of other uniformed soliders who are seated on, standing on, and around traditional looking museum-style oval sofa. The figures are observing, urinating on, and defacing icons of modern works of art..." Aww yeah, full of fudge splashes and what looks like melted butter, it made for quite the eye opener to my sluggish night... .:: Mr. V in NYC ::. |
