On a new tmail name since someone changed the user name on my account ten days ago, according to the TMo rep I just talked to. That's why I wasn't receiving emails on this. Gee, and I just thought it was one of those semi-regular sucky TMo/Danger service issues, so I didn't call right away. Not sure if it was hacked or was some weird mix-up in TMo's system, but all my saved emails are gone.

I eagerly await the iPhone. I'm weary of these problems with the SK. Other suggestions?

One of our bedroom windows wasn't sealed properly when our house was built. With all the rain lately water has been pouring off the roof, against the window, down the inside of the wall, and then halfway across the room under the carpet.

Luckily, we bought a brand new house so we don't have to pay for anything. Once the weather is dry they'll seal the window, replace the carpet pad and anything else that got wet, and put everything back together. Hopefully it will go that smoothly...

In the meantime, my wife and I moved into the upstairs guest bedroom and our dresser and many other items are going to be living in our livingroom. Our house is a huge mess right now.

Laura and Jose picked me up at the airport with Judith in the car, and we headed over to AT&T Center to catch the Spurs play the Hornets. Is good to be here with friends.

Here's my early morning series of hops yesterday to travel from DC to Boston back to the MIT Media Lab. After crossing the chasm that was 2006 during which our sponsorship lapsed, it is good to be back. It was fitting that a glory followed the plane for a while between Philadelphia and NYC.

- mike lee - at logan again for a return flight home...had some great meetings with some of my lab friends

Lunch at Noodles & Company, Niles, IL

this picture is owned by the submitter. contact submitter for permission before using it in any wayWent here for a late lunch yesterday after the interview. I had their version of pad thai with a ceaser salad and a seared chicken breast. Total, including pop, was 9.80. I should mention the pop was like $2 though. It's pretty reasonably priced, in my opinion, for such a well balanced meal.

I had never been to one of these places before, so was a bit confused at how it worked, but the nice dude behind the counter helped me out. Basically you have the choice between a small serving of noodles for like 4 bucks, a regular for about 5.50 or a "trio" for 7. The trio is a small portion of noodles, and comes with a side salad and a "protein", your choice between like some chicken or beef or whatever. So you can get yourself a massive mound of starch for 5.50, or for 1.50 more you can get a healthy serving size along with some protein and greens.

The serving size and ratios were pretty spot on and I felt good about myself after eating, not like I had just "eaten out", which usually gives me the "I'm a fatty" guilt cause retaurant portions tend to be massive.

But I broke that when I went to subway and had cookies. :X I had to wait for Jaku and Josh to get out of work so I could get a ride home, and they were an hour late. I was done eating, so I decided to go to Starbucks and get meself some caffiene, and when I got there, all of the seats were taken. So I stood around for a minute, thinking someone would go, but no; everyone had laptops and notepads and were obviously gonna be there for a while. So I crossed the street and bought some cookies and a pop and sat at Subway for like 1.5 hours til they finally got out and drove me home. Cookies were good. They were playing "the Lite" (shitty radio station) so that wasn't so good. And that was my day.

Oh and the interview went ok, but I don't think I got the job cause they wanted someone with experience.
