Damn, this past month we've had terrible luck with our Family's cars :O!

Last night my Dad got hit on his way home from work, and what with Rod's totaled Supra not more than two weeks ago...

Luckily my father has 2 cars he can pull parts off of, but it sucks :( These things are his babies!

I guess ill be driving my car extra safe now!

Made me realize how much I miss having frequent dialog with him. Can't chat over the cubicle wall with him anymore, but I have to pick up the phone and ring him every once in a while to get my fix of the firehose that is John's brain. Catch him tonight in Richmond for the last stop on the book tour.

Caught up to it finally and took this amazing photo. Best part is the keys still in the ignition. Had to stop myself from going for a joyride. There were no latinos present at the time, fyi.

I'm all regsitered at the Kresge Auditorium and seated waiting for the H2.0 symposium to start. The press office says there are 50 reporters here including the NYT, WSJ and of course Boston Globe.

Co-worker Pam and I flew up to Boston today to attend tomorrow's Human 2.0 symposium at the MIT Media Lab. We hit the ground running and had an idea-charged meeting with Professor Tod Machover. We checked in on Cory and Dan in the robotics lab. They were feverishly engaging in robot construction. Then John Maeda's assistant and her husband took us to dinner at La Tasca Tapas Restaurant in Brighton. The last photo shows how my hotel, the Sheraton Newton, sits on top of the turnpike and the earplugs provided by room service.
