Found out that I can't interview with EMSA for one year. But my boy Bobby who was hired by with EMSA passed his protocol test first try...that's awesome! --Nick Cates NREMT-B
Oversize load?
sorensilk at tmail ° com {°|°}
this picture is owned by the submitter. contact submitter for permission before using it in any wayI saw this car on the highway this morning. It was a tiny little car with a giant OVERSIZE LOAD sign on it. Normally these cars drive in front or behind 18 wheelers carrying very large loads. Not this guy though. He was just chillin' in rush hour traffic.

I was curious to know whether he just didn't bother taking the sign off between jobs or if he somehow got separated from the truck he was driving with...

soap!

this picture is owned by the submitter. contact submitter for permission before using it in any wayThat's a shopping cart half-full of dishsoap, in case you can't tell. I know I stock up on like lightbulbs when they're on sale for $1, but I don't buy 45 of them. Especially cause dishsoap lasts like a long time. I don't have a dishwasher so all the dishes are done with that kind of soap in my house, and one bottle of Ajax has lasted me like 3 months. So what he's got in that cart is literally like a 5 year supply for a normal household. Then I thought, "What if he's soaping a fountain?" But even then, do you really need that much soap? The only thing I can think is he owns a restaurant and they ran out and won't be getting a shipment of their normal stuff for a while.

Or he drinks it because it gives him "the power".

These were taken like 3 or 4 cars apart in the parking lot of my work as I was leaving for the day. What are the chances, two total fucking dweebs shopping at the same time. I hope they met up in the cereal aisle when both grabbed for the same box of Grape Nuts and exchanged phone numbers.

In the "gate area," waiting for my flight back to Dulles which gets in at midnight. Slept in this morning and then went shopping at Caesar's. Got a cup of drinking chocolate at Vosges and another kalamata truffle. Couple shots of the new statuary at the outdoor arena. Played the slots some more and lost all the $$ I was ahead. And got a shot of The Venetian for Mom. We're gonna stay there together some day. ;)
