I'm attending a special event at Alamo Draft House. It's the Beats Per Minute 48 Hour Music Video Competition. About 20 teams have received a CD with a song on it and they get 48 hours to listen to it, film a music video, and edit it. Tonight is round one of the judging and my brother in law is in one of the groups. This should be interesting...

Oh, and for anyone that isn't familiar, Alamo Draft House is a movie theater in Austin that serves food and alcoholoc beverages. No one under 18 is allowed and they will actually kick you out if you talk or your cell phone goes off. They play normal movies and have cool events like this all the time. It's the best movie theater ever. No, seriously, it was voted the best theater in America by Entertainment Weekly. It's the bombdiggity.

Turns out the cronjob script for hiptophunt was emailing me the output. ...129,385 times. Which filled up my websites quota (turned out to around 500mb of email)

Took these pix a long time ago, but never posted 'em. It's a electric (brushless) conversion of a Hyper 7 1/8 scale 4WD offroad buggy. It was formerly powered by a nitro engine, now it abuses electrons!

Came home just 15 minutes ago, and there was a letter from CSULB waiting for me: Fear!

So I open it to find....I'M IN! :D a sigh of relief, as this was the only college I applied to, cuz I'm silly :/

It had just begun to snow hard yesterday (Sunday) morning, so we decided to go to our nearby chinese restaurant Good Fortune to get some dim sum. The dining room wasn't crowded because of the weather, but even BETTER, the Tai Yim Kung Fu school was doing its lion dance in the dining rooms complete with drums and cymbals. Cianna had a great time. Unfortunately, I only had this crappy phone cam, so no good action shots of Cianna with the lion.
