We were walking around Oakland last sunday, enjoying the weather and came upon a pile of stuff on the sidewalk. It was mainly trash but sitting there in plain view was a Linksys WRT54G router. The holy grail of cheap routers. I picked it up, turned it over and gasped when I saw it was v3. Easily hackable and with extra RAM on board. In my bag it went with a silent hope that it was still good. I just now got around to checking it. Looks like its in perfect shape. Even flashed DD-WRT on it! Score!

Today we decided to spend a little more time on our little garden project. We planted five rose bushes a few weeks ago. After they were in, we decided to go ahead and make a garden around them.

You can kind of see in the last two top pictures a curvy line in the grass. Everything from the curvy line to the fence is going to be the garden. All I had time to do was the line. We'll dig up all the grass next time. I'm not exactly sure what we're going to do with the grass once it's up though...

So this morning I gave back Sophia her old phone (about to die), and Katie let me borrow her phone from Sophomore year, with charger! But, my god am I happy to have my Sidekick back! How the hell does anyone type on a number pad? Its beyond me. I've never had a cellphone before my CSK(Felipe), so it was very awkward, and I don't think I could ever get used to it! :/ qwerty fo' life, dawgz.

I was expecting Amazon, so when I opened the door to Calyx and Corolla from UPS, I was surprised. Pam got me these gorgeous orchids that go so well with my decor. Love them.

I'm enjoying my free 12 oz. cup of coffee at the Starbucks across the street from my office.

Spring shows up in Mom and Dad's yard.

I got an e-mail out of the blue from an art director at St. Martins Press who was inquiring about this photo taken on a foggy night of Charles Street in Baltimore. He's offering me $1000 for non-exclusive use on the cover of a mystery novel. And tonight, I found the original on an archive CD. Yeah!

During a shopping run at Potomac Mills today, Mom and I took a break at Starbucks for lunch. Tres good.

So my mom took my phone away...found it and stole it for the day! Sophia is lending me this phone and ill take my sim card outta here before I return the phone to its hiding place. And majesty might have another for me tomorrow :D yay, young ingenuity!
