And people usually adhere to it. I don't think it's a respect thing, I think it's just fear of having your car keyed by the guy who lives there and wanted his damn spot that night. What's funny about this one though is that these have been sitting here for 2 days. No one has parked here, not even the person who put up the signs. so i bought the cheapest togo phone for days when i completly burn my phone out. its alot better to talk on then my sidekick for sure. ive had it for maybe 3 weeks, but have only used it like 5 times really. --amy

Yeah, I decided to go with the basic wash. I like how rather than just calling it basic or standard, it's called the Deluxe Wash. So, even though it's the cheapest, I still feel like I'm getting something fancy.

Got to go to mission control. Pretty sweet if you ask me. We were just supposed to poke our heads in and look around, but one of the guys in there was like cmon in guys. Didn't get any pictures of that because they told us to turn our phones off. But then we went to the apollo mission control room with all the old computers and we got to push buttons and play with the "red phone"(which was used as a direct line to the president). They also didn't have email back then, so they used those air tubes and stuff and Neal, my friend that works at NASA told us they used to send burritos and pizza through those too. Haha.

Neal took us up to his office and let us listen in on some of the conversations going on between Houston(mission control) and the international space station. We couldn't talk to them though, because only Capcom, private medical staff, and family members can talk to them.

We also saw the door to the room they're going to use for mission control on the next trip to the moon.

Then we went over to rocket park(open to the public) and looked at some rockets. -sAmI k-

Got a personal "on the floor" tour today at johnsons space center. It was pretty awesome. Got to see lots of robots and cool training things. In the picture of a picture of a shuttle, it's the shuttle that they're gonna go to after this shuttle retires in 4 years. -sAmI k-

I didn't pass the BAFD physical abilities test. I've been fighting a cold for a week now and that didint help any. I will pass it in May. --Nick Cates NREMT-B
