My Microsoft staff host Pam met me at building 27 and we drove across campus to #100. Along the way, she gave me a tour of some the significant buildings. Pictured is Bill & Steve's office, provisional housing condos for visiting consultants and field staff, the Company Store where Pam helped me buy some software and lunch at Microsoft Dining Services. On my lap is the amount of software $244.88 buys at an employee discount. My talk went well and had an OK turnout considering it was at the end of the day on a Friday. They had a taxi waiting for me right after I finished and I saw today's rain on the way back downtown. I chill tonight to take an early flight home in the morning.

Had to share some pictures of the latest creation, now that I'm sure Robert has received it. It's a seal, presumably driven south by global warming and pictured hanging out in my freezer. Note the Japanese pattern I made him from, the only source for this amount of kawaiitude. ;)

This is the spot where I almost bit it a few minutes ago. It's been raining today and I'm wearing shoes with no tread at all. I hit the waxed floor in front of the mat with my slick, wet shoes and slid about 5 feet on one foot. I even accidently said "Whoa!" as I was sliding. But I held the slide and didn't actually fall.

There was a girl sitting on that bench who I'm sure was laughing her ass off (thankfully not out loud.)

so, the company i work for finally has a half decient website up. its hard to get all the new stuff they are constantly growing and whatnot. so heres a link, i got an email earlier saying we need hits for google! >_< [the company i work deals with cabling services/telecommunications/computer networking/video surveilance in south florida] companys website that is all i have to say for now. --amy

Yesterday was gloriously sunny here in Seattle. However, I didn't get out of the hotel until mid-afternoon because I was wrestling with a corrupted PowerPoint file. I won.

I was able to meet up with friend Scott for a late afternoon walk down to the waterfront. We had a fish 'n chips dinner at Ivar's. There a few photos from our walk on Flickr including photos of the Rem Koolhas Seattle Public Library, the "Bill and Paul" plaque on the Walk of Fame in front of Nordstroms and a view of Downtown Waterfront.

I'm in a taxi on my way to Microsoft now.

My 350Z has been in the shop all week getting the rear fixed from not 1 but 2 run ins with poles. Well... today I managed to scrape my rental car against a pole also. Fingers crossed State Farm covers me on rentals also!
