My wife has always liked sangria and last weekend we decided to find a recipe for it. We just looked on the interwebs and found a random one. It turned out great so we're having it again this weekend.

Basically you stick a bottle of red wine (it doesn't really matter what kind) and stick in various fruits (oranges and limes are good, so is pineapple and strawberry, etc.), a spoon or two of sugar, and about a 1/4 cup Brandy is optional. Let it sit in the fridge overnight if you can, if not, it's not that big of a deal. Right before you serve it pour in some ginger ale or sprite.

It's one of those drinks that you can kinda just stick in whatever you have in the fridge and it turns out pretty good. Just be careful, it's known for kind of sneaking up on you.
