We're driving to the in-laws this evening. I have one dog on my lap and the other fell asleep in the middle of a stretch. I hate to mess them around but we have to stop for food soon...

Bought these from Ikea a while back, now that the kitchen is all painted, we put them up. Looks pretty cool if I do say so myself!

Grad Night was last night, and it wasn't really as fun as I was expecting because I was way to tired. Got home this morning at 8 after breakfast at Jacks and passed out till now.

Just checked the mail, though! Regan sent me such a thoughtful gift! It combines my love of knitting and cute things! I can't wait to get started! Thank you Regan!

Today we had our yearly summer picnic at Reunion Ranch. It was pretty fun. We got a little rain half way through but I spent most of my time playing blackjack anyway. I ended up winning a $100 gift card to Home Depot though.

Made it! 65 miles, 80 degrees, lots of hills and lots of fun.

Thans to everyone for their generosity and support :) it felt like everyone was giving a helpful push up the big hill.

Ate some lunch and now will set up camp.

So I see this marvelous hydrangea bush out of the corner of my eye on my way to work each day, and today I succumbed to the desire to snap a few shots. The owners were in the yard, and told me they'd grown them from little cuttings off the "big" one in the back. All the hydrangeas in this older neighborhood are blue, so I guess they're sitting on an acidic aluminum vein. Unbelievably beautiful in person.
