For years I've been bugging my mother to look into getting my brothers and I adopted into our Indian tribe. Her excuse was she wouldn't know where to start, and that she didn't have any of her documents proving how much native blood we had in us.

I woke up this morning to find her rummaging through our huge box of paperwork, she had found every single document we could ever need to prove we had a decent amount of native american in us! The family tree is pretty crazy to look at, the names are a trip! My greatgreatgreat(?) grandfather went by the name Boots, ha. We gotta go to Wisconsin and appear before a board and they vote on whether or not I should be allowed in, but I think being a 1/4th is enough (hopefully, I need some financial help for college :()

But in other news, Gabi's scarf is progressing (it looks like shrubbery...still somewhat cute, I hope!) and I'm watching a huuuuge lot of needles right now on ebay. I need me some double pointed! Christmsa socks ahoy~
