I wrote tmobile after I was unable to post to twitter via sms, and here is their brilliant response. I can't believe they acted like they have no idea what twitter is.

Thank you for taking the time to contact T-Mobile regarding your Sidekick LX and blocked Twitter (short code 40404). We can appreciate how important it is to access something you are paying for. We would be more than happy to assist you with this question.

I just finished my listening quiz and I'm reading the 2nd chapter of the assigned 7 for Psych at 2:45. I'm predicting straight Bs for the semester, which I'm fine with. I just can't wait for my break to beginnnnnnnn.

Boo ThinkGeek!
cdf12345 at tmail ° com {°|°}
this picture is owned by the submitter. contact submitter for permission before using it in any wayI ordered a Bluetooth Bracelet from thinkgeek for Christmas, (its a bluetooth bracelet that vibrates when you get a call or sms, so you don't miss called in loud places, or if you have your phone on silent.)

I wanted it before Christmas, so I made sure to order early and I paid extra for 2 day shipping. I bought a tin of penguin caffeinated mints as well. The UPS truck came Friday morning, and when I opened the box I found the Penguin Mints and a package of AAA batteries.

Hmmm. Not so happy. I called ThinkGeek 2 minutes later and explained the situation. At first I thought maybe someone who had possession of the package opened it and replaced the bracelet with the batteries. I didn't even know thinkgeek sold batteries. The guy on the phone told me they did sell batteries and they probably just shipped the wrong item. He placed a new order with 2 day shipping for the bracelet again. The problem is now that the bracelets are sold out (thanks for telling everyone about it boingboing!) and the estimated date for more to become available is 1/4. So I'm kinda mad, since it looks like I won't get mine by christmas and I paid like $10 for quick shipping which won't matter if I have to wait 2-3 weeks for the item to come back in stock.

Oh well, just wanted to rant a bit. Hopefully the story ends happily :) (and soon).

As we ran through DTW attempting to make our flight to SFO we passed through a corridor that looked a lot like Chicago O'Hare's corridor. Only managed to snap a few blurry and awful pics as we ran down the moving sidewalk.

As Holly pointed out, bonsai junipers must be where those little mini bottles of gin come from.
