I tested charging the XO laptop with a Sunlinq 6.5 watt flexible solar panel today. After three hours of bright mid-day sun, the laptop charge only increased by 20%. This isn't a surprise as City Data for Greenville says this is the time of year with lowest solar radiation as well as fewer hours of daylight. Tomorrow I will try two rigid 15 watt panels.

Celebrated the 23rd-24th with Sophia, Mariela and Paola while missing Katie's attendence (beyond her control :()

Lots of presents were exchanged and then I went to my aunts last night to be with family. Ill spend today recooperating from so many festivities!

Five hours on the road yesterday, a stop overnight at the Holiday Inn in Uniontown, PA and five hours today brought Cici to her grandparents in Greenville, Ohio.

And I was relentless to know what it could have been. While I'd like to credit my whining abilities being the reason he gave in, I believe he just wanted to know what I was giving him too! So we decided to just pop over to my house and do the exchange 5 days early.

Before I gave him his real present (I stole his diploma and took it to a framer :D), I presented him H.I.V. My present was Freddie Mercury! How eerie, my present to him killed his present to me. I felt odd separating them at the end of the night :(
