Dr. Jonathan Lazar of Towson University came by our office for a visit today. Dianne and I had a great chat with him about his research interests in user frustration, human-computer interaction and usability.

His students have dubbed him "the Yoda of usability" because most teachers or consultants have some name like "Father of..." or "Guru." Regardless of the appropriateness of the nickname, Jon is one of the most energetic and passionate practitioners and teachers of usability anywhere. We're really looking forward to working with him some more soon.

And how timely it was to talk about frustrations with technology as my main blog site is still down. Hopefully all will be well by the morning.
