The Westin Seattle is the first cylindrical-shaped hotel I've stayed in. The footprint of the rooms are like slices of a donut. I got a nice sized suite.

Met up with old friends Jenna and Scott for a late dinner at the Palace Kitchen Restaurant. Jenna was my best student in a graphic production class back in 1995. She went on to run Nordstrom.com's web production team for many years. They had great news: she's 5 months pregnant and they just found out yesterday it's going to be a girl! Attached is the essential belly photo.

It turns out I don't have to be at MSFT until early tomorrow, so I get to polish my presentation this morning on the laptop and have a few hours to walk around.
