From 9-5 today in one of our company boardrooms, I participated in another scenario planning session with practitioners from the Global Business Network looking out to the year 2015 and beyond. Deep conversation generated a sparkling rain of ideas throughout the day as people with marker pens recorded it all on easel paper. Clay Shirkey sat next to me at our group's table helping to facilitate the process. Clay teaches new media at NYU's Interactive Telecommunications Program and is widely recognized for his articles and essays. I hit him up for a chance to sit in on one of his classes, which he gladly agreed. Besides seeing him lecture, he's the kind of guy one would want to mind meld for hours over beers.
