No sinning for me today. I got registered at the conference and had a nice lunch with pal Dana. Then I dutifully finished prep on my talk for tomorrow morning, got handouts printed at the business center, and attended the speaker orientation. It's kinda cool that my talk comes after the opening session with Vint Cerf and Robert Kahn, two of the "founding fathers" of the internet. I even resisted buying a Grannimalat Les Enfants on Le Boulevard, a toy store in the hotel. Lately, I see my daughter's face in every toy. The last photo is a promotional kiosk displaying what 1 million dollars worth of $100 bills looks like. After getting a visit to downtown Vegas last night, tonight I'm going to try to get into the Eiffel Experience, a 1/2 scale replica of the Eiffel Tower attached to our hotel.
