Someone just IM'd our offices here at 6th & E St., NW, about 5 blocks from the U.S. Capital Building, that the White House and Capital (and other buildings) have been evacuated. Apparently there is a Cessna plane breaching the no fly zone over D.C. F-16 jets are overhead, and not long ago, there was a stampede of people running to Union Station.

Now, 15 minutes later, the White House has issued an "all clear." The plane has been identified and re-directed. Co-worker Kumi was disappointed that there wasn't any ass-kicking aerial firepower displayed...
