When you are in NYC, it really sucks to have your camera not work. I will refrain from attempting to describe the neon lights on Broadway. I will note that this is my first visit back to the Times Square area in some time (since it was "cleaned up"). It sure is different.

One thing I love is how the signs for city services are as flashy as the ads and theatre signs. So you have the New York Police Dept. Sign in neon blue with blinking neon red first letters. Or the "Subway" sign in pure broadway multiple-bulb bright white animated glory

Lots of cabs, tourists and cameraphones filling the street.
