There is nothing quite like planning a last minute trip to Japan to get the adrenalin flowing. Got my flight schedule and hotel arrangements all set. I picked up my first passport (pictured above), freshly minted this morning.

I will be attending the First International Moblogging Conference (aka the 1IMC) in Tokyo on Saturday (5 July). I'll be arriving in Tokyo sometime Thursday afternoon and staying at the Takanawa Prince Hotel in Shinagawa.

This is my first visit to Japan and I won't have as much time as I would like to explore Tokyo (not to mention other parts of Japan). If anyone has any recommendations, feel free to drop me an email (mike at bedope ° com).

Ironically enough, there is no way for me to use the hiptop while in Japan, so I will be quite disconnected for the moblogging conference :) I hope to come away with some new ideas for hiptop Nation, and I will give a full report upon my return!
