You know, if it weren't for you Mike, I probably wouldn't be here...because I very nearly threw my election ballot and book in the recycle bin when I got it last month (yes, I'm one of those ungrateful americans who should probably have their citizenship revoked and given to some poor person who just escaped from a totalitarian regime)

...but here I am...and now I have to decide whether or not the city should increase retirement benefits for policemen and firefighters...no, I think I'll skip that one...on to whether marijuana should be legalized for medicinal purposes...

next year there should be a measure to do away with daylight savings...i've just learned that arizona and indiana don't have to turn their clocks back...to which I say, no fair!! --may
