The Disco Death Star

So I decided to attempt a Death Star cake, ala Charm City Cakes, for Chris's birthday. Took about four hours, the great majority of it getting the fondant and buttercream to match. Then Chris decided to take Friday off. For the uninitiated, buttercream continues to tint over several days. Fondant does not. So, Monday, I was left with a lovely lavender Death Star with grey panels. Next time, only fondant.
