Maryland Renaissance Festival, that is. 100 degrees out here. Saw one patron in one of the shaded areas pass out. I'm sure we must have lost some performers in this heat. I am suspiciously ungarbed, as is my prerogative because I pay to get in. I think I sweated all my SPF 50 off about 2 hours ago. Procured two new bodices (had to upsize) from Moresca and a gorgeous new coat from Half Moon, where I was, not surprisingly on a day this hot, their first confirmed payment for the season. $400 later, I'm out of here to get a shower and some air conditioning. Check out the new signage, the Pyrates (+ Fifi, yay), the crowd Michael Rosman drew despite the heat, uh... pork rinds (?) and funnel cakes are back (!).
