Mommy and Daddy left early this morning... about the time I usually wake them up with nose-kisses. They took with them the boxes with wheels and handles, filled with clothes, that they'd put out for me the past week. Now I have to find something new to burrow in.

Around 9 p.m. the front door opened, and I bounded over to greet Mommy -- but it was not Mommy. I sniffed a bit, but Not Mommy smelled like Other Cat, so I went to watch her do stuff from a safe distance. I acted all cute and play-ey and like I wanted tummy rubbing, but when she'd come over, I'd bolt so she'd know how upset I was with her for trying to pass herself off as Mommy. A few times I even let her pet me, just so she'd know what she was missing. This is all part of my master plan. --sammy
