High-end marketing campaign spotted in San Francisco.

I'm walking around the Lewiston/Auburn area of Maine. They used to be big milltowns. Due in part to a recent wave of immigrants from Somalia, they have been experiencing a bit of economic revival. There is a lot of amazing architecture to be found.

I'm getting a new charger for my R/C car and this one needs a 12v supply that is pretty hefty -- 15A at 12v. Most PS on the market that can supply that are terribly expensive, heavy and big. I remembered reading an article once on how to rig a computer PS to function as a 12v source. Well, found a beast on sale at Fry's, this one does 20A at 12v, plenty for my needs.

Ok, yeah, I gotta pay the tax.

Buying a hobby type supply could have set me back $90 or more. Now for about $6 of parts to do the conversion, I'm all set!

Within 5 minutes of arriving at the La Quinta in Knoxville Miss Thang has managed to wedge herself into the space between the headboard and the wall. I can't actually see the front part of her, but I can get a single hand in there to snap a shot and make sure she's okay. I'm hoping she'll figure her way out when she gets hungry. Housekeeping is vacuuming the next room over so it could be a while.

Stopped by Unclaimed Baggage for another hour before departing this morning. Included is a shot aproaching the bridge over the Tennessee River.

I was having issues of my Sirius Satelite Radio dropping it's signal at random times. I had had the attenna next to my window, however there is a deep overhang off my roof and many dense trees in my backyard, so I decided to buy a 50 foot Monster extention cable and run the attenna to my roof.

First I had to screw the attenna onto my roof, then get in the attic and run the wire into my basement, then back up to my stereo.

All in all it went well, as can be seen by my attenna status on the satelite radio. Normally I would get 3 - 6 bars, now its 100% all the time.

Now I can listen to Wait Wait Don't Tell Me and A Prairie Home Companion on "NPR Now" a few times a weekend, Bluff Poker Radio on Wednesdays and Thursdays, The Saturday Night Safety Dance on First Wave, Madison on Alt Nation and Maxim Radio the rest of the time.

Kinda late cuz I enjoy sleeping in on the wkends... There's bacon, sausage, eggs with english muffins and hash browns. Yum! I try to make up for the lack of food preparation during the week. But then I over compensate and make waaaay too much food all weekend. Oh well... its all good (I hope) (^^,)
