Despite the accident yesterday, Kristina's birthday was a success! Paola drew a cute picture of all of us on her card :)

Today in art we got to go outside, god damn trees are hard to draw!

Have major tests in Japanaese tonight. Since I skipped the test on halloween (and nearly everyone else), we're having a makeup....after the speaking and reading tests :( crapppp! Will be studying now and after class at the college with my group!

:( also I have to start writing my essay, and composing in japanese is killing my brain.

Cici and I took the Metro train downtown yesterday. A rider gave us a seat, Cici gave her a Finding Nemo reward sticker that said "Great Job!"

We noticed a sign in the train car:

Escalump (es-ke-lump) n. person who becomes a human speed bump by suddenly stopping at the top or bottom of Metro escalator.

And on exiting Metro Center station, we watched two musicians for a few minutes. Cici dropped a dollar in their instrument case.

My wife and I just saw Ben Folds live for the third or fourth time. The twist this time? We saw him backed by the entire Houston Symphony Orchestra. 80+ people playing backup for little old Ben Folds. It was a great show. And we're actually seeing him again on Friday in Austin sans band. I can't wait. The Austin crowds are always particularly good to Ben.

Back at the NTB on Rand Rd in Arlington Heights, IL getting my inner tie rods replaced. I debated going to the dealer or here, and this place won out. The parts are a little more expensive (almost twice as much) but the labor is _much_ cheaper (3x) than the dealer and they were able to get the parts in a matter of hours instead of days. My time is priceless these days as I have so little of it. T-minus 2 days till SF.
