We watched our nephew all sunday as oue niece was not feeling well, so to take the heat off the parents. We went to the kids musuem and a few other things. No xbox for me today, matbe some tonight.

Thursday night saw a little rip in the fabric of space-time as former co-workers and boss mingled with the current at Fado Pub to bid farewell to Liz, who, after seven years with our team, is relocating to Boston. Liz saw wave after wave of change in our group, sharing the last three years of it with me. As her manager, I signed her exit papers Friday and watched as she passed through a stream of hugs and goodbyes at the end of the day. Liz won't be far away in the electronic realm, but I know I'll have to deal with a week or two of phantom limb syndrome walking into to her old office expecting her to be there.

We went out with the Zombies to see Borat... followed by dual xbox 360 purchases. We were going to get one eventually, and since we're but 2 weeks away from the 42" plasma, shown below, why not jump the 360 bandwagon now. 4 games later and a wireless adapter, we have ourselves a 360 ready for war. So much for my indash dvd player for my car, but I'll probably get more use from the 360 anyways. And the indash will probably be cheaper in after xmas sales, whereas the 360 will hold steady. Live for today! Thank god I had no plans sunday, gotta break this in. The games we got were Oblivion, Dead Rising, MotoGP06, and Fear. I'm waiting for Fornza 2 coming out very soon for my car street racing and modifying needs. The 350z is the flagship car in it, so hey maybe I can indash dvd player the electronic version of my car and watch dvds on it.

A drink based off an experiment last night. I tweaked it today and I just made one for roommate Matt:

1 shot Kahlua 1 shot Vodka 1 shot Bailey's Irish Cream 1 shot Creme de Cacao Spoonful of hot chocolate mix Splash of milk Shaken vigorously on ice

Yum. Matt's verdict: "It's Excellent." Someone come up with a better name for it, please!

I know the pictures are crap but here's the second Ben Folds concert that I went to this week. This one was at Stubb's in Austin last night. It was a much more rockin' show which I like. And Corn Mo opened. He was, uh, interesting. Great show overall.
