Seriously? Wal-Mart actually sells a license plate frame made out of chrome (I can only assume beer) bottle caps. The scary part is that Wal-Mart wouldn't carry these unless there are people willing to spend their hard earned cash on these and then place them on their vehicles....Oh geez. PS - Go vote. |

Short on pics, because I overslept and we had to zip away from the polling place so I could get to work. People about, but not too crowded yet. For the Maine US Senate seat, incumbant Olympia Snowe is not in Danger of losing her seat. But I am interested in watching these results to see how her 2 challengers - Dem Jean Hay Bright and Independent Bill Slavick do. In the Maine Mock Student election (high schools across Maine) Slavick came in ahead of Hay Bright, 16.3% vs. 12.5%. We use optical cards where you draw a line so no touchscreen trickery to watch out for (but I do miss the KERRRCHUNKKK of the old lever-style booths) |
