Intended to have lunch at Godai with Amy and Zoe, but I didn't realize it isn't open for lunch Saturdays, so we headed down the road to Phoenix Cafe. It was great seeing them again. I don't miss this placeg I miss these people.

My lady friend and I went to a pottery show this morning. The main artist was Ishmael Soto. He lives near my home town and the show was at his studio about 20 miles outside of town. His son Pablo who does hand blown glass and a few other artists were there as well.

Ishmael's been selling his stuff for almost 50 years now. I've been drinking from his mugs and using some of his plates since I was a little kid. It was nice to finally get a few pieces of my own.

It's a simple series of lights over the spaces which tells you if they're open or not. As an added bonus, my space was right at the counter for Southwest.

A second workshop day where we used scenarios created yesterday as lenses to distill down several hundred ideas to about 12. Also, Joel Garreau, author of the book Radical Evolution, gave a fascinating talk.
