Headed to the dentist and visibility is terrible. I think I got mlee beat. I can only see about 200-300 feet. I've been randomly slamming on my brakes just to mess with people. Just kidding.

Finally made use of one of my Japanese crafting books to decorate slippers for my cousin's Christmas gift. Fortunately, she's not too hip to the blog thing so I can share. And Deb, if you see this, don't tell Jo. ;)

It's not as spectacular as the house in s4xton's post, but this place Mom and I saw on our drive tonight was high wattage.

After years of following each other's blogs--initially here on Hiptop Nation--I met up with Mr. Keith Jenkins for lunch. Keith is now the photography editor for the paper version of The Washington Post. You can still see his old moblog posts here in HN posted as "keithwj."

We talked shop and traded great rants over lunch, and then he walked me through the photo department and the main newsroom (pictured). Next time we'll meet at my offices.

Using Endicia (rhymes with "Moesha" and "propecia") for the first time today and loving it. It's taking me longer to weigh the packages and put the info in than a professional postal person, but I end up with a metered package and don't have to wait in line.
