Where food is unbelievably expensive. $9 for a Tendercrisp meal at burger king. But their tower is cool.

I dropped my wife's Mini Cooper off for some service this morning. The were out of loaners so I got a free rental car. It's a little different from the Mini. It's already gotten the nickname of the Dodge Hearse at work...

It's not really my kind of car but it only has 92 miles on it and that nice new car smell.

My wife and I finally took the plunge and got a flat panel HDTV LCD TV. We didn't go crazy though. We settled on a 32inch Samsung. It's plenty big for our living room and is amazing.

I'm watching the San Antonio Spurs geting killed by the Houston Rockets in very high definition. I'm also switching back and forth between the game and my living room entertainment PC.

I love this TV. We even did what every says you do when you switch to HD, we sat for an hour and watched a nature show about the life of fig trees in Africa. We never watch shows like that but both of us were mesmerized.

Of course the SK3 camera can't come close to doing it justice but oh well.

Turns out "unlimited pancakes" is three for my family. Mom and Dad invited me along to IHOP, and I discovered my birthday is National Pancake Day. Too bad it's not National Cupcakes and Ice Cream Day. But I plan to celebrate as if it is.
