I posted this picture as part of my last entry but I felt it deserved it's own post. This was a picture at Uncommon Objects that was labeled "Guy With A Cool Tie."

It was just so random and great. But, alas, it was priced at about $40 and I couldn't think of anywhere I could hang it in my house so I didn't leave with it. So, if you're anywhere near Austin, and you dig it, feel free to scoop it up.

My daughter's Godmother Michelle had a housewarming party @ her new condo in Jersey. Many drinks including Hinnenuetiepo (a "Legends of the Fall" to you: SoCo, Amaretto, Jack Daniels, Pineapple juice, and Grenadine).... It's a creeper drink that tastes like fruit punch. Next thing you know, two drinks in and you're blasted... can't leave the house without blessing it with teh shocker...

Had a highly pleasant evening out with Dave, Rob, and Liz, whose awesome Fluevog boots are pictured here. The photo's not sideways; she's doing a Matrix style beatdown on the tiles. Okay. It's sideways. I couldn't help myself. I mentioned that I was planning to catch The Comedy Spot's trial run of Dungeons and Improv, and they wanted to come with! I got to laugh at geek jokes with other folks and there was Italian food, so that was all good.

On the way to and from I listened to the last installment of Traditions (which Skivee talks about) on the now all-classical WETA. Mary's been doing the show as long as I've been alive, and though I wasn't a huge fan, I think it's a shame to take it off the air. Heard Stan Rogers sing Mary Ellen Carter on the drive home. Appropriate.

We made our first visit to Atomic Pop, the sister store to Atomic Books, specializing in collectible toys. 2 months old and getting the 3 flashing red lights. Basically its fucked. But it is covered under warrenty, so after 10 mins on the jive machine with customer service, and I have them sending a prepaid box to return it to them for repair. Its actually a very common problem and lots of people are ticked that after this much time they are still sellling shody units.

I tried to do my own trouble shooting hence the disassembled xbox. I believe I reassembeled with no trace of my handy work since they probably wouldn't accept the warrenty yhen.

Its been one hell of a winter in the Pacific NW. Finally some sun this week. I took advantage of it by rollerblading. Fun as always.

Hanging out with the wife's family on South Congress. This used to be the area of town that was known as the place to go to get youself a cheap hooker but in recent years has started shaping up.

There are quite a few shops along it now and, unfortunately, some people are starting to refer to South Congress as SoCo. Personally, I think SoCo sounds stupid, but that's just me.

It's a pretty good strip to check out though. If you like random items or antiques be sure to check out a store called Uncommon Objects.

These are just some I still have, I've deleted a bunch, mostly calling me a "cracker" Anyways, I know who it is, I just can't prove it because she's not using her tmail addy. I have replied and asked why she's so scared and playing dumb lil kid games but I just get another dumb email. I know her tmail, I know her AIM and when I IMed her, of course I was blocked.. So I've decided to ignore it, thinking she would get bored and stop...nope, wrong.. She continues. I refuse to change my tmail. No effing way! Guess I treat it as spam... And a bonus pic of me trying to look like a cute badass! Haha :)
