Sometimes I feel bad that I'm one of those people that gets the majority of their news from The Daily Show and The Colbert Report. I know that getting my world news from Comedy Central isn't the best way to educate myself on current events. But, then I actually switch over to cnn or Fox "News" and I don't feel so bad.

Sug was curled up so cute Thursday that I had to grab the Sidekick and capture the moment. Glad I did. She passed yesterday morning, while I was flying back from San Antonio. I wish I'd been here to hold her and comfort her and tell her how much I loved her.

I've got the Wii all set up. It's conveniently connected to the aux ports of the 24" Sun LCD monitor my brother-in-law got for us. I decided to download the system update to get the news and weather channels and the Opera browser. After some false starts connecting to busy servers, it's taking forever for the data to come down. Good thing this monitor has picture-in-picture so I can switch back to my desktop PC. Note how the IR LEDs on the Wii sensor bar are visible to the Sidekick camera.

There were about 10 units in the display case. Who knows how many more are there, but I imagine they'll be sold out in an hour or two. I'll be setting mine up tonight on the 24" Sun LCD monitor to start.
