We got a nice view of D.C. on takeoff. Arrival at TF Green Airport in Providence and the ride in the rental car was mellow. The Cape Cod Swim Club is having a big awards dinner here at the Sea Crest Conference Center, but the place should empty out again late tonight. There's a dinner at 7 for the early arrivers.

I'm on a tiny pencil of a plane which required us to board a bus to the tarmac for the first time in all my flights out of Regan. Note that my child was very excited about my leaving. Co-workers Brenda and Denise are along with me on this trip to Professor Maeda's annual MIT Media Lab sponsor event in Falmouth, MA.

After my productive morning, I had an eventful evening :D!

Eirik, his friend Omar, and I went to an art gallery opening in Culver city!

Bigfoot "Survival in the Modern World", there were over 50 pieces on display, and they all rawkedddd! The artist was even working on a piece during the gallery showing :D!

Washing a car in this family is difficult, you gotta be mindful not to wet anyone else's (more specifically, any of my Dad's Montes, he'd have our head!)

It that time of year again, as we gear and up cook around 3000 lbs. of meat for this year's Blazathon. This year Matt has signed himself up for slicing all the brisket.

Parking @ my new job is nice. Its a garage and its more or less empty. Just me and a Radio Disney van over in my area.

And I'm at my old job doing contract work @ $50 an hour. And taking pictures cause now I'm bored. I knew all that schooling would pay off. As Mike Jones would say "I gotta plan, I'm in demand" with some catchy rap beat under it.

On the disc is 40 minutes of live performance by sand animation artist Ilana Yahov. She uses only her fingers to draw in sand on a lighted glass table. I highly recommend visiting the web site to view the video clips.
