Yesterday keyclub went to a beach clean up, afterwards an easter egg hunt promising money was held. A stampede!

While at target, we saw this monstrosity. As you can see, paola was not pleased.

Stayed overnight with Tim and Sabrina and Sasha and Nadya + their four cats and two puppies. Gerri (aka Grrrri -- she's not too happy about the rest of the menagerie who arrived after her) is in the first two pics. She came in and napped in the arch of my foot this morning. And Willow and Jester are in the next two shots (Willow in an atypical calm moment).

I'm flying standby on an earlier flight today that'll get me back home 3 hours earlier. *fingers crossed that I make it*

It wasn't exactly by choice but I went to the 29th Annual Spamarama today. It's a festival devoted to the fine food product of Spam. My brother in law got two free VIP passes through his job at the radio station.

It wasn't the ideal day since it was 37° and raining but we actually had

a good time. I hadn't even had Spam before today but I had all kinds of it today. Spam chilli, spamshi (Spam sushi,) spamburgers, etc. It was a surprisingly fun time.

Our child spent part of her day at pre-school making a bunny-eared easter basket out of a gallon milk jug. She was quite happy to show off her mini-tiara. And mommy scored two tickets from her boss for Monday's White House Easter Egg Roll on the South Lawn. I'll drop them off early on my way to work. In bold type on the back of the tickets: No firearms, aerosols, backpacks, knives.
