Another working day in Htown. Nothing too exciting. Bought some fancy sandals on ebay, been looking awhile for sporty showy sandals, and today I succedded.

I also love 104.9 here... its primarily Houston rap, which I already loved. So to wake up to it and listen to it in the car is great. Mike Jones, Paul Wall, Rob G.....the list goes on.

I went to a shady corner store yesterday for some sodie pop. Next door was a 24 hr adult modeling center. Must be a busy place to have to be open 24 hrs. The collection of beat down 80s cars in the parking lot gave it away that this place is nothing but trouble.

Now I'm off to the gym

Went to TJHSST today with some of the ThinkGeek squad to sponsor the freshman class's robot competition. Lots of fun and smart kids.

My wife and I got back from our California vacation late on Sunday. I'll get some good pictures up soon, I've just been too busy. We took Monday off to pick up our dogs, do some school catch up, etc. Yesterday I had a horrible day of work. My computer wasn't working properly and I was trying to get caught up on a weeks worth of work in one day.

Today and tomorrow I am going to be at our Dallas office. That means a 4:00am drive to get there this morning, that's what I'm working on now. But at least I'll get lots of songs knocked out on the iPod.

Check this out -- there was a Blade Runneresque umbrella on the site, and I got all excited. I got even more excited when, about 30 seconds later, he showed up next to my desk, glowing. And I promptly started squealing. I'm pretty sure he gave me the demo of the product just to shut me up. *grins*

There was a resturant near me for as long as I can remember called "The Country School', I'd only ever seen 2. Sycamore, and Rochelle, Illinois.

Last year another local place, Lukulos took over the Sycamore location. (Now they deliver! Woot!)

I stopped by to get food and noticed 2 things.

1.) They have funnel cakes for $2. I've never seen funnel cakes outside of carnivals and circuses and special events.

2.) They left the sign that warns of cars that parking is for Country School customers only. Too bad for anyone wanting Lukulos! Lol.
