Dustin came in today carrying a large piece of fake fur. He informed me that he stopped at yard sale on his way to work and bought it for 10 bucks. "I just had to get it, isn't it awesome?" yea.

I was on my break and informed him that I was having a shitty day, and he wrapped it around his shoulders and started making growling noises, then called himself the Deli Yeti. I couldn't decide if he was trying to cheer me up or just didn't want to listen to me bitch anymore. Anyway, when he left work, he wrapped up the coffee I brought him* and his keys and such in the fur, and wrapped it around his body so he could ride home. I decided it was a god picture, but he decided it would be better with some bird-flippage.

*he told us the other day that he was completely out and was reusing the day before's grounds, and was too broke to buy more. I told him I had previously bought a cheap 4 pound bucket, so I brought him what was left. I'm nice like that. Then he forgot it at work and bought more anyway. But then took mine home today. Today was the 90 yr anniversary of Cheerwine, invented and bottled here in Salisbury NC. Even though you can only get it in NC, SC, Ga, TN and parts of Ky, its one of those things that bring back memories of youth and good times. Oh its a cherry flavored soda but way better than Fanta or Shasta. If you ever get down this way I strongly advise it. They had a old delivery truck, a promotions 3 wheeled car with a cherry stem on top and plenty of other antiques. Ah, small town living, you can't beat it. --Larry

My girlfriend decided that she wanted a laid back Mom's Day so she chose to eat t Pancho Vilas! Not the greatest looking Mexican resturant but the food and the service is good. For being in a small southern town in NC, its nice to see the little bits of ethnic diversity here and there. They also have this big hand painted mural on the front of the building depicting the defense of Mexico City from Pancho Vila. I'm pretty sure there's only a handful of non-Hispanics here that actually know this but since my great-grandfather was Mexican, I always try to be somewhat knowledgable of my hertiage and pass that on to my sons. --Larry

All in LA I wanted a money clip. My wallet isn't we'll designed to hold cash so I had a random mix of bills in my pocket. I looked high and low and best I found were ones with sports reams. Lame. I hit ebay hard and lo and behold... a 350Z clip. Bought it, and it was anxiously waiting for me when I returned. Also coming should be a dell docking station for my home and an external dvd burner. Next up: 3 in 1 printer scanner fax.

Mom and I came out to Cheesecake Factory for coffee and dessert. This is Mom being overwhelmed by her strawberry shortcake. ;)

If ever you get the chance, and you are in Tulsa Oklahoma, and you like sushi, might I strongly suggest Tsunami Sushi. Oh wow... the food is ALWAYS good. DAMN! Oh... Be prepared to drop some coin. Good food is not cheap. -Matt

LA was great as always. Nothing too exciting during the week happened. My bag is 5 lbs overweight, I said charge it. I'm too lazy to pull 5 lbs of crap out and have to lug it onto the plane. Flights delayed an hour... can't wait to get in Seattle, get my car, see the cats, look at my pics from LA and cry myself to sleep. Okay not the last part.
