Here's the line of storms that delayed my flight out of Salt Lake by an hour. I just barely made it on to my connecting flight in Chicago. Looking forward to BWI and a taxi home.

So I go to plaza mayor to get a pocketknife. The weather was bad but I figured I'd try anyway. Got there in time, but they didn't have the right size in stainless.

Meh.

Off I went to Mason de campinon. Mushrooms, pimientos, some wine and sangria. Yum!

Rain starts again, really bad. Bad enough to shut down the subway. I detoured to a bar, subway still closed. Found an alternate route and now I'm home. Whew!

We're at a height of about a dozen Washington Monuments above sea level in the Summit Room of Cliff Lodge sharing presentations all day. The folks presenting have to keep from being distracted by the breathtaking view of the snowy mountain ridge. I'm also enduring a slight headache from the altitude.
