It's really a testament to how important it is to have a stage-managed show that involves both the actors and musicians to give closure to the day. I think there's a closing gate ceremony that I'll try to catch today, but the only effective closing ceremony I've seen that has the same effect that Maryland's Pub Sing used to was Scarborough's closing gate (granted I've only been to 13 festivals and not any in California or Colorado's). And somehow I don't suspect we're all going to stand around and expect the patrons to join in a rousing round of Parting Glass.

I successfully applied for my $100 Apple iPhone store credit today. Now I have to decide what to spend it on. Or maybe just apply it to the purchase of a 16gb 3G iPhone whenever that comes out in the U.S.

Friday during lunch, Erik and I stumbled accross 20 ft inflatible yellow ducks, hula girls, a man in a duck outfit, the Hoover High School marching band, the Mayor of Glendale, the local chapter Kiwanis Club, and some photographers. I think that's about it.
