Looking at the beautiful foothills of the San Bernardino mountains which is less than a 30 minute drive away from my home on the way to rendevous with hubby (again) at the U-Haul rental location.

A Reunion Of Sorts

Well, my daughters and I are gonna hook up with my first cousin (who is a year older than I am). We haven't seen her since last year. We've one of those on/off type of relationships...hurt feelings, misunderstandings, etc. When we were growing up we were more like "two peas in a pod...like sisters". She called me @ 7:30a today and we stayed on the phone for about an hour.

My daughters call her "Auntie Elizabeth". She admits that she lives to move alot. The last time talked to her she was living in Irvine...now she lives in Buena Park near Knotts Berry Farm. It's somewhat of a coincidence since I lived near the "Farm" almost 10 years ago. Her daughter, my second cousin is 17 (can't believe it...) and doing very very well in school and graduating in June with excellent prospects for the furture...wants to be an obstetrician. We'll have a mini-reunion by hanging out to catch up on the time that has passed and seeing Santa Claus 2...yeah, I know it's a kiddie movie and it's very appropriate seeing that I have two kiddies myself. I'm hoping that there will be some photo ops before the daylight fades.

Hoping that everyone has had a good weekend and has had a chance to wind-down from work and the Hunt.

Danger Info Partners with Danger, Inc. They Did It...Angels Won The World Series

For the first time in baseball history, the Angels are world champions.

Anaheim completed its magical run to the top of the sport with a 4-1 win over the San Francisco Giants in Game 7 on Sunday evening before 44,598 at Edison Field. Slugging third baseman Troy Glaus was named series MVP.

They won the Series, four games to three, and will bring the World Series trophy to Anaheim for the first time in the 41-year history of the franchise.

you might have to spend a nice sunny day off from work sitting in front of your computer to go "attend" Interactive Traffic School with Interactive Games (http://www.trafficinteractive.com/index.asp). The online "class" costs $17.

I got a speeding ticket for going twice the limit in a residential neighborhood on the way to work. I usually take note of the CHP laying in wait for people like me but not this time. I have to go to a public library to get my Certificate of Completion to give to court along with the fine for my speeding ticket. At least I won't have any points added to my driving record, so it's worth it.

that one day there would be (Starbucks) drive thru windows for coffee? My hubby doesn't get all the hype & especially in light of there prices. He prefers the .99 cent coffee at the local Arco AM/PM or 7-11. This Starbucks drive-thru window is kinda like the whole Krispy Kreme -- In N' Out Burger thing where they just sell one item. That'll be $2.85 for one hot, tall Caramel Machiatto to go please. Interesting no sales tax charged (I guess).

The other picture of the cars in the lot is where I bought my first Ford Explorer back in 1995. That was the first time I had even driven a truck before...it took some getting used to having to step up to sit down.

Well we finally made it to the UHaul place. Hubby says the 25' truck is way too big and it's a stick shift. The smaller is good, but it needs a hitch trailer. He's in the office doing the paperwork now. &:} BustAGroove via HipTop // AIM: BustAGrooove

Well our team blog has been very quiet....but that all will change on the 31st with the mad dash to post pics, tips and all things sidekick. On the way home last night. I was tempted to phptog the cops at the sobrietty checkpoint, but decided ti use much better judgment. Plus the pics would not have come out very well (it is dark at 6pm now).

75% of the family is already up now. I can't stray away to far from home because -'m oncall this weekend.......*thinking it would be nice to have VPN ON THE SIDEKICK.*

I just found out that when my hubby has to go pick up a UHAUL foe his high school band competition in Riverside. It's so cold now because the heater is broken. I don't tolerate cold weather very well. Well I gotta get going.
