Well... I was told by my boss I should leave my sidekick in the car from now on. That's prtty clear cut. Im really annoyed, but don't know what I can do about it. Uhg. --Sara
IISA Certification

I'm now certified to teach Inline skating! Woo! 2 days worth of mock teaching and skills practice.

I got a 524 out of 600 on my examination. 99 on the written exam, 249 out of 300 on teaching and presentation and 176 out of 200 on my skills. Lots of room for improvement, but overall, pretty near the best in the class (the others weren't too forthcoming with their marks, oh, but my friend John only got a 510 ;P ).

Skills I only got partial credit on were: Stride III, Backwards Movement, Two Foot Backwards transitions and off foot power slide and t-stop.

Now MY Insight is missing a skirt! Stupid design. It was hanging by one screw and the whole corner got worn down from dragging on the road for half an hour. Should be replaced under warranty I hope. Guess I'll stop putting off the visit to the dealer for my checkup and oil change.

I saw a citrus Insight going South on Route 9 North of Freehold just now! First one I've seen driving on the road. It was missing a wheel skirt. I wonder if they saw me. :) --Sara

After lunch, John and I went out to the test site to see the S-3 get launched from the catapult. It was a first for me. I'd only seen the cat run with no loads or dead loads, not with a real plane. --Sara
