Last summer sometime these annoying white spots started to appear on my screen. Disturbed by this I looked around on Apple.com and at that time there was nothin mentioned on repair or a recall. Well recently the spots started to become more noticeable (as if they weren't noticeable ENOUGH before), so I decided to hunt around again on Apple.com and what do you know... It's an issue and they are addressing the problem. Why Apple doesn't send you a letter stating that there is an issue and should you be experiencing said problem to contact them, is beyond me. Ragan went through something similar with his iBook logic board. At least they are fixing it, and that is where Apple is all good.

Gonna be odd not having my Powerbook for a couple of days. -Matt
