My pepper plants that I bought earlier in the season started to fade out on me and I couldn't for the life of me figure out why. I put them in the best potting soil, I water them, I give them all the sunlight they need, yet they kept wanting to fade on me. So after doing some research, it turns out that pepper plants are in the same group as tomatoes and need phosphorous. My only worry is that they might be overfed and become very large and leafy as they have been doing, and not producing any peppers. I think I am going to try this for another week or two, and then go to the Mill and get a more specific fertilizer that will cater to plant and hopefully get some peppers.

At any rate, watching the peppers bounce back and become full and healthy is still nice to see.
