Packed up 3 boxes to send to the troops in Iraq. My buddy Josh was deployed to a forward area in Iraq earlier this month. He's doing good and requested some items that they want/need. We had an overwhelming response. Needless to say they won't be needing beef jerky or pop tarts for a while. What's funny is that one of our lodge members asked what they needed and I just looked at him straight faced and said "porn... all the porn you can send. The more hardcore the better", thinking he would read through my sarcasm. Instead he asked what type? Video, Magazine, what do they need. Baffled, I just simply replied "Who are you Larry Flynt??". Needless to say, he didn't get the joke. Now after my long winded diatribe, the point being... The troops are getting what they need. Well the troops arounf Josh at least.
