On my way to pick up the wife at the hospital, I took the ONLY "Brititsh-style" cab in NYC. The cabbies, James, had it imported from London- and this cab is sweet! V6 turbodeisel that gets 35 MPG (city), and turns heads wherever it goes. Cars, buses, pedestrians, and even other cabbies were commenting to us whenever we stopped. It has a sound-amplification module that allows for shout-free communication between driver and passenger...Worth it just for the experience alone =)
