I was having a crappy day at work (6th day in a row), and I came back from dinner to see a gift left for me in my office... One of my newer employees dropped off a burn of an undergound album called "Blue Eyes Meets Bed-Stuy"!!!! It's a DJ Mix much like DJ Dangermouse's quiet masterpiece: The Grey Album. Frank Sinatra plays the mellow background to the King of New York, "Frank White". Much like the Grey Album, the concept of such a musical marriage sounds monstrous...But such giants of their respective genres made music << soooo >> good that it actually can sound good together... It definitely leans more to the Hip-Hop side than Standards or Rock, but this selection gets my "Walrus Of Approval" (because I hate Seals. Sorry, but I really do...it's personal - LOL). ***Favorite Tracks: "10 Crack Commandments" b/w "Fools Rush In" and "Juicy" b/w "New York, New York..."*** Gotta get to bed, Goodnight...
