To appreciate my 35 mile commute here's the greater Seattle area traffic map at 6pm on a friday, provided in real time to help drivers like myself assess traffic conditions. The one picture (if you can't read the sticky) says "Work" and points to the top left corner of the sticky. That's my work, in Bellevue, directly east of downtown Seattle, on the east side of the lake. The other picture I had to scroll the site up I live so far north. I live right at the top of the map. Don't let the grey color on the freeway confuse you, that just means they don't report traffic conditions there. I'll give you a hint, it might as well be red or black. Actually this isn't too bad... when its nothing but black and red between work and home, you know your in for one hell of a commute. Given its mostly green, I think it's time to depart and start my weekend. Hopefully that Dance Dance Revolution mat showed up today in the mail so I can break it in this weekend.
