| Sven & Ole's Sighting Fri 01.14.05 11:48am PST #12047 |
 On my only trip (so far) to the Boundary Waters more than 10 years ago, I happily chowed on pizza and Coke after five days of camping food. Looking forward to that pizza propelled me on a long final paddle across Seagull Lake's choppy water in the rain. As much as I loved the canoeing trip, I also have fond memories of Sven & Ole's in Grand Marais MN, where I ate that pizza. It's bitterly cold here in Kansas City today, but not as cold as it is in Minnesota. Still, spying a Sven & Ole's bumper sticker on a car here in Missouri warmed me a little, no small thing on this frigid winter day. -heidi |
