This is the first time I've flown since the latest changes in airport security, so I was dreading the breast exam at the airport security gate. Thankfully, I managed to avoid it so far, probably in part to the fact that by the time I got through the detector, they were already doing the final boarding call for my flight and I was nervous about getting over there and a woman security agent was sympathetic to my worry. Whew.

I'm set for my connecting flight in Minneapolis. This is the first time I've been through here since they opened their airport tram, which is faster getting through the long airport for tight connections. (Won't get to see light rail this trip.)

I haven't gotten to the Vanity Fair profile of Eliot Spitzer yet, but I'm looking forward to reading it on my next flight. I can't seem to read anything other than magazines on flights.

You know when you've left Kansas City and entered the upper Midwest when you see ads for cheese curds in the airport. I'm headed to Wisconsin, land of cheese. (There is even a cheese factory in the town where I'm headed, but sadly, I think no Sidekick service.)
